With the America East Conference Championship Meet just around the corner the men’s and women’s track and field teams got one final tune-up meet for their relay teams at the Penn Relays.

The men’s and women’s track and field team traveled to George Mason on Saturday and came away with four gold medals and two UMBC records.
Gilreath Wins Triple Jump At Colonial Relays
The men’s and women’s track and field team went down to Williamsburg, Va. to compete in the Colonial Relays. The men’s team finished 17th with 17 points while the women’s team finished 25th with four points.

Devaud Wins Heptathlon, Hewitson Rebreaks A School Record
Dominic Devaud won the heptathlon on the second day of the IC4A championships with 5,232 total points. Keith Onto finished third in the event with 5,183 points while Michael Buccheri finished eighth with 4,837 points.
