Women’s Track And Field Finished Fifth At America East Conference Indoor Championships
Senior distance runner placed three times in the conference championship meet, twice in medal position and one just outside of it. In the 5000-meter run she claimed goal with a time of 16:47.69. Also placing in that event was fellow senior Suzanne Gabriel, who took sixth in 17:33.74
Brooks and Malomo-Paris Break Records At Rider/Lafayette Winter Games
Sophomore Aaron Brooks set a school record in the men’s shot put with a toss of 15.43-meters in his third place performance. Meanwhile, Kiki Malomo-Paris set a school record in the women’s long jump with a leap of 5.56-meters while also earning a bronze.
Men’s And Women’s Track And Field Compete At New York Collegiate Invitational Meet
The men’s 4×200-meter relay team of Mohamed Koroma, Jason Powell, Adrian Arthur, and Antonio Thomas came up just 0.25 second away from a school record as they finished the race ninth overall in a time of 1:30.76.
