Stony Brook has an incredibly high powered offense and could cause nightmares for UMBC with their goalie situation. But nobody really knows what UMBC has yet. Their record may be a product of their schedule, four straight top 10 teams. But the fact is they are 1-5 and have not played very well. This game is the conference opener for both teams and UMBC may need the win more just to get confidence back in them.

Kevin Kohri looks rattled in the goal and the offense is making some bad shots. They are still in the game but need to be able to hold down the high-powered Stony Brook offense

End of third quarter- 13-10 SBU
Kevin Kohri has stepped it up in the third quarter but the defense is still giving up transition goals that are killing UMBC’s chance at a comeback. When UMBC scored Stony Brook is able to get at least one right back.
