Men’s Tennis Downs George Mason, 6-1

After a trip to Texas over spring break in which the men’s tennis team beat both Praire View A&M (7-0), and Texas A&M Corpus Christi (4-3), they returned home and this time took on George Mason who they beat, 6-1.
Chris Meyer lost the first match for the Retrievers but UMBC was able to come together and get wins across the board after that.
Fredi Voorman was able to take out Greg Donabedian 6-1, 6-2 in the second spot while Joseph Adewumi and Mwali Phiri won their matches in the fifth and sixth spots, respectively.
Adam Duprat and Gaulthier Berret continue to show loads of potential in their first seasons at UMBC as they did not drop a game in their matches, winning 6-0, 6-0.
In doubles UMBC swept competition as Voorman and Tsang won 8-3, Berrett and Duprat won 8-5, and Meyer and Phiri won 8-2.
