Men’s and Women’s Tennis Updates

Due to inconsistent updates of Tennis results, mostly of away games, I tend to skip tennis posts on my site because they are either not posted or by the time they are it is several days after the fact: So for now I’ll update you for what they’ve done so far since my last update.
Men’s Tennis (10-3):
@ Navy 4-3 W
In the six singles matches the two teams split their record as Fredi Voorman (6-4, 6-4), Adam Duprat (1-6, 6-4, 7-6), anf Joe Adewumi (7-6 [6], 6-2_ all came away with wins.
But what set the two teams apart was the doubles competition. In order to get the point in doubles matches a team must win two of three matches and Voorman and Allen Tsang (9-4 [4]), and Gaulthier Berret and Duprat (8-6) took care of it for the win
@ Old Dominion 6-1 L
Freshman Adam Duprat got UMBC’s only point of the match as he beat Yakov Diskin of Old Dominion in two sets (6-2, 6-1)
Fredi Voorman and Allen Tsang got a win in doubles competition (8-6) but the other two teams lost, giving Old Dominion the point.
Howard 7-0 W
In their 12th game this season the tennis team finally made their home debut and got a sweep of Howard because of it.
Chris Meyer came back to beat Devard Wharton in three sets (4-6, 6-0, 6-2). Fredi Voorman (6-2, 6-4), Adam Duprat (6-1, 6-3), Gaulthier Berret (6-1, 6-4) and Joe Adewumi (6-1, 6-1) all swept their competition. Due to only five players on Howard’s team, Mwali Phiri won his match by default.
In doubles competition Voorman and Tsang (8-1) and Logan Bricker and Phiri (8-1) won their doubles matches while Berret and Duprat won by default.
Women’s Tennis (5-4):
@ Old Dominion 7-0 L
The women’s tennis team was unable to get a single victory against the Monarchs but Alic Chen gave a tough three set match against Joanna Dobrowolska (6-3, 2-6, 6-10).
Howard 5-2 W:
Alice Chen (6-4, 6-4), Lorena Valenta (6-3, 6-3), Emily Mannix (6-1, 6-1), Hiedi Danielsson (7-5, 5-7, 6-2), and Barbara Couto (6-2, 2-6, 6-4) found wins against Howard in singles competition to get five points. But in doubles competition Valente and Couto were the only team to get a win (8-4).
