Devaud Wins Heptathlon, Hewitson Rebreaks A School Record

Dominic Devaud won the heptathlon on the second day of the IC4A championships with 5,232 total points.

Keith Onto finished third in the event with 5,183 points while Michael Buccheri finished eighth with 4,837 points.

One consecutive days of the meet sophomore Joshua Hewitson broke the school record for the 500-meter dash.

In the first day Jewitson broke his own record in the event when he qualified for the championship meet with a time of 1:03.50, but broke it the next day in a fourth place finish in which he want it in 1:03.35.

Victor Gilreath earned a silver in the triple jumper with a mark of 15.05-meters. He then finished sixth in the high jump with a leap of 1.99-meters.
