Brooks and Malomo-Paris Break Records At Rider/Lafayette Winter Games

Sophomore Aaron Brooks set a school record in the men’s shot put with a toss of 15.43-meters in his third place performance.
Meanwhile, Kiki Malomo-Paris set a school record in the women’s long jump with a leap of 5.56-meters while also earning a bronze.
Elsewhere on the men’s side of things Camal Pugh won silver in the 60-meter hurdles with an IC4A-qualifying time of 8.24. Fellow senior Keith Brown finished two spots behind Pugh with a time of 8.33.
On the women’s side Britney Foreman won gold in the 60-meter dash in an ECAC-qualfying time of 7.67, and also took sliver in the 200-meter dash in 25.37.
Sophomore Imani Colber won the 60-meter hurdles in and ECAC-qualfying time of 8.76 and freshman Amanda Deller won the shot put with a throw of 13.98-meters.
Three other women’s placed in the event. Ashly McClure finished second in the 500-meter dash in 1:17.97, senior Sara Parkinson finished second in the 800-meter dash in 2:15.50 and freshman Ashly Ajayi won a bronze in the 400-meter dash in 58.93.
