Men’s Swimming and Diving Take Every Gold

The men’s swimming and diving team completely swept Marist by winning every event to improve to 6-1 in head-to-head with a 172.5-117.5 victory.

Eric Jones was apart of four gold medals in the sweep of Marist. He won three individual gold medals, taking the 50 free (21.89), 200 free (1:44.52), and 500 free (4:48.12). He was then apart of the 400 free relay team with Steve Gallagher, Keilan Freenan, and Zach Vonder Haar that took gold in 3:12.92.

Gallagher and Vander Haar were apart of the winning 200 meldey relay team along with John Mendenhall and Jason Mattingly. They won in 1:38.31.

Matt Mattingly took gold in the 100 fly (51.67) and 100 breast (4:48.12), while Brad Reitz took gold in the 200 fly (1:53.81), 200 IM (1:56.76), and Nour Saad took golds in the 100 and 200 back in 53.18 and 1:54.75, respectively.

Mat Carson took gold in the 1,000 free in 9:52.84.
